LOOK: More senators are expressing their support for the increase of tobacco excise taxes.

Senator Ping Lacson committed to cast an affirmative vote to pass the bill that will increase tobacco excise taxes. The proposed measure will help reduce smoking prevalence in the country and, at the same time, ensure effective implementation of Universal Health Care.

UHC is a first class law, but without a secure funding source, its implementation will be third-class. There is a clear need to raise sin taxes so that all Filipinos can access better health care.

THERE ARE ONLY 2 SESSION DAYS LEFT in the 17th Congress. Support Universal Health Care! Support the increase of sin taxes for the health of Filipinos!
