DID YOU KNOW that based on preliminary data, Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) revenues reached P68.4 billion in 2018, or 8.1 percent above the target?
The TRAIN law provides that 70% of incremental revenues will be used to fund infrastructure projects, while 30% will be used for social mitigating measures and investments in education, health, social protection, employment, and housing.
As of April 2019, unconditional cash transfers (UCT) amounting to P2,400 were each provided for more than 9.2 million UCT beneficiaries. Meanwhile, more than 100 thousand fuel cards were distributed to legitimate public utility jeepney (PUJ) franchise holders under the Pantawid Pasada program.
